Traditional oracle solutions update data feeds blindly, which is wasteful and provides poor granularity. OEV extraction updates data feeds exactly when needed, which results in cheap and maximally accurate data feeds. Furthermore, the OEV update transactions can be offloaded to third-parties, making it financially feasible to operate a large variety of data feeds.
